Description: We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

Sorry, but this is not the place to go for a memorable evening. The bar, dining area, and kitchen are all in one open area. There was no attempt to soften the surroundings or dampen the sound. It was impossible to carry on a conversation, even at a smaller table for two. In addition, the thermostat must have been set to ARTIC. It was COLD.

We arrived at 6:00 pm and were the first seated. At that time, we commented on the noise level. The food prep area, as well as the voices of the plentiful staff, made it difficult to converse.

The service was excellent. Not so the food. My salmon was at best, average. My wife's pork tenderloin the same..The vegetables served with the entrees were strange. I asked what they were, but due to the following, I couldn't tell you what they were.

A wedding rehearsal party had arrived and it was impossible to hear one another. Management recognized the problem and moved us to outdoor seating and bought us our desert. Desert was very good.

As you can imagine, we were very disappointed. The only outstanding segment was the service. For a high end restaurant, I suggest some other location.

I ate lunch here after visiting the spa one weekend. The fish sandwich I had was amazing and they happily accommodated my special request. The service was good, everyone is very polite. The restaurant is up on the 2nd floor looking down on the Ocean, which I loved. The view is gorgeous. I would definitely go back.

Indoor or Outdoor seating. Beautifully designed restaurant with amazing views of ocean/beach. Recommend Tropical Storm Martini. We ate dinner, appetizers and breakfast here - never a bad experience. Very accommodating to our busy toddler.

Food is exceptional, service is exceptional and the hotel is exceptional. The down side is that SInger Island offers no shopping, dining or nightlife but this restaurant is worth the trip.

Restaurant week was the reason we ate here. They participated in the $35 prixe fixe for month of Sept. We choose the crab cakes (which had an addiional upcharge of $5) as well as the filet (an addiitonal upcharge of $10) but we got a gourmet meal for really a pittiance. Tender beef cooked to everyone's specifications, great dessert, crab cakes incredibly tender & spectacular service. Told the server we were celebrating a 50th bday and when our friend's dessert came, they had written happy birthday on the plate in chocolate and brought it out with a candle. Definitely great quality food.
