The Hampton Inn in Quincy, was nice, however it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in at a Hampton Inn. Work out room was also very small, three pieces of equiptment in the workout room. The staff was nice, slightly over priced for the area.
Breakfast was good.

Our family accompanied my husband on a 3day business meeting to this location, so the site was predetermined. The hotel is right along the interstate but noise was never an issue. The hotel staff is geared to businessmen but welcomed the kids too. Fresh baked cookies were available each afternoon. In the evenings the business guests made themselves at home in the looby for informal social activites without any issues. The rooms were great with refrig and microwaves. The beds awesome, slept wonderfully. Only drawback wifi only in lobby not throughout hotel, so in room needed to hook up. The pool was clean but a bit cool, likely due to the unseasonally cool weather. Yes a remote location but a quick drive to Tallahassee for anything you may desire.

A clean new property at an almost desolate I-10 exit. There are two other hotels at this exit immediately nearby. One is a Holiday Inn and the other is a no-name inn. There are no restaurants but you can go back 10 miles to Tallahassee for an endless supply of franchises.

There are flat screen TVs in every room, refrigerators, microwave ovens, wireless Internet and thermostats instead of controls on the wall AC unit.. Of course the "Cloud 9" beds are exquisite! There is a beautiful outdoor pool with large pool deck. The pool faces the Interstate but is far enough back and is surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The lobby is large and there are plenty of tables for the morning buffet.

Very pleasant staff. I called for an ETA from Lake City an they knew exactly how long it would take.

We were going to a football game in Tallahassee and by booking a couple of months ahead, we were able to get a decent rate. Rates at facilities in Tallahassee tend to go up during sporting events and when the legislature is in session.

Pros: This seems to be a fairly new unit. It is well maintained and the room was clean. A "full" breakfast is served in the lobby.

Cons: This unit is about twenty miles west of Tallahassee and seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It is adjacent to I-10, but even though our room faced the highway, we heard very little traffice noise. Qunicy is a small town and dining options are pretty much limited to fast food with a couple of family style cafes - non of which we tested. We did take advantage of the complimentary "full" breakfast which consisted of "fried" eggs (which seemed to have been cooked in a microwave), sausage (very similar to McDonald's sausage), biscuits (very obviously frozen), English muffins, bagels, coffee, juice and a limited selection of fruit and cereal. The second day, over-cooked Canadian bacon replaced the sausage. They were not very prompt at replinishing items.

Summary: If you just need a place to spend the night at a reasonable price and are not too picky about your breakfast, this is a good place to stay.
