“Southern Gem”
Review of Mainstreet Cafe Quincy - CLOSED

From the children selling lemonade outside on the sidewalk to the handwritten menu you will experience a true southern cafe. The sandwiches are delicious and generous in size and the sweet tea is SWEET. The cafe is filled with vintage treasures for sale like crocheted baby bottle covers, blue and white ginger jars, artwork and items to monogram. The owner is friendly and its obvious she loves what she does.

The food at this off the beaten track spot is worth looking for. The hot and cold sandwiches are very generous and fresh. The turkey hot melt is extra good. The soup are homemade and seasoned just right. The total winner is the homemade milkshake. Mu god what a treat! Open Monday thur Saturday. Make this a drive to and enjoy the best lunch around.
