“The Best Seaafood and View out of this World”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

I was looking for nice night out on the town and found this place. The wait staff was great and food was out of this world. In 40 Restaurant I have been in SWFL this has been the best. I will be making this a number one spot to go to. A great table and the sunset was the best. The were busy but worth the 20 min wait on a Friday night. Also get plenty of good food for you money, still snacking on it today, still good. I would suggest this place if you are down here on vacation Then the Fisherman's Village has a bunch of great shops and live music. Had a great night out and a great place. (They even got me to try frog leg's it was okay not chicken to me) lol

“Good Food and Service”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Eaten there about 4 times. Always good food and service. Best to make reservations. Very good and experienced wait staff. Four of us dropped in on Valentines day w/o reservations and got only table not reserved. As busy as they were, we were served in a reasonable amount of time. Four different entre' and all very good. Price reasonable for this type restaurant.

“Beautiful View and Good Food”
Reviewed January 31, 2014 via mobile

Take a rambling walk through Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda visiting a nice array of different shops. When you start to get hungry just walk to the Oyster Bar for a wonderful meal at reasonable prices. Took the family for a nice Saturday trip and enjoyed a fabulous filet mignon cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries just added to the dish. While we dined we watched over the boats and birds over the beautiful waterway. Don't miss it!

“Get the soft shell crab and the sweet potato fries!”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

The oysters were very disappointing: small and thin and pretty low on flavor. Not a good thing for an oyster bar! But the soft shell crab and the fried shrimp were great: very lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were nice and crisp and the house cole slaw (a vinegar based sweet and sour style) was excellent. Maybe the care put into the food is what makes the kitchen slow but the good parts of the meal were worth the wait.
