“Really Good”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

This restaurant is inside a boutique shopping mall but with a great harbour view....nice mall to walk through with several interesting things going on the night we were there it was dog and dog owners night it was really good seeing all the well trained pooches sitting or laying next to their owners at dinner but hey whatever makes the world go round...there was live music and those diehards dancing so it's a very entertaining spot....the food and service was excellent with several menu choices including gluten free and for us fussy vegetarians the kitchen were more than happy to mix and match so you got exactly what you want to eat.....the desserts were to die for I would highly recommend a visit for those of you tired to death of burgers......

“Ok, I guess...”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

As a local I hope and pray for decent seafood with a great view. Mostly I have found you pay for a great view and eat sub standard seafood. This unfortunately was said case in point. Everything was under seasoned, the wait staff was subpar at best until the check came then it was quite speedy. Our appetizer came after the entrees. Save yourself the money and pack something from Publix to eat on the water at a local park.

“Harbour View!”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

Place can be found inside a Mall, boutique shops and a military museum...Great view of the harbour playful dolphins and a really great sunset from the large restaurant windows...choice of inside / outside table but went for the former for the view.
No problem getting seated by the friendly waitress....very good menu plus a gluten free option for the wife. Went for the surf and turf...very good steak served with breaded scampi and a large portion of chips...would have swapped the chips for more of the scampi as there wasn't much of it for the price ($21) !!..wife was happy with her Greek Salad & sweet potato sides.
Finished off with very good desserts.. Key Lime Pie & Pecan Pie....
Well worth a visit...

“Several visits”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

During our recent trip to Punta Gorda, we ate at the Village Fish Market on several different occasions. There often is a wait for a table, yet worth the wait. We found the staff to be very friendly and attending to needs. One night we had the restaurant cook our days catch from fishing. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. I recommend the blackened. Outside seating is limited. They are located in Fisherman's Village which has many little specialty shops. My wife loved the shopping.

“Wonderful. Great experience.”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

When we visit Southwest Florida, since we first ate at Village Fish Market a couple of years ago, we make sure to make it a point to dine here. It's the favorite restaurant of our cousins who live nearby the restaurant.

First, it has a terrific water view from either inside or outside dining areas, our waiters, including this time have been most friendly and accommodating. And most importantly for a restaurant, the food is extremely tasty and top notch.
