We were in Punta Gorda for the Christmas boat parade and the restaurant we planned to go to was packed. So we went for a walk and found OPUS and had a wonderful dinner. Our server, Yolanda, was very professional and friendly and while we were dressed somewhat casually for a fine dining establishment she treated us with the same respect that better dressed patrons received. Two of our party had the breast of duck which was excellent - it was paired with arugula and squash - we don't find squash very often in restaurants and it was a welcome surprise. The mahi tuna was also an excellent choice - seared on the outside and very rare inside as requested. The wine selection is good and the decor is lovely. All in all a much better dinner than we would have had if our first restaurant choice had been available. We'll be back!
