“Great guacamole!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013 via mobile

Great service, great nachos, & good entertainment! I had a burger with a side order of vegetables. I was expecting the typical frozen vegetable medley. Pleasant surprise - fresh grilled zucchini, squash, mushrooms, red onions. & mushrooms. Very good & reasonAbly priced.

The staff are very attentive & take very good care of you! Food was wonderful & there is a good selection which was nice since we had some people w/us that didn't want Mexican. Definitely will return to this establishment!!!

“Spur of the moment choice worth a try”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

Location, location, location, Rt. 17 north in Punta Gorda, parking found behind the building. Their specialty is Mexican, however, complete pub type menu. Loved the "outdoor" type seating .. our group of six were overwhelmed with the portions we received plus lots of "specials" on a daily basis. Fajitas, nachos grande, fish sandwich and wings chosen by us. Busy, noisy atmosphere in bar area; however, quiet, cute "casa" atmosphere inside.

“Not what I expected.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

We had received numerous recommendations from friends to try the place. We did and came away wondering what all the fuss was about. Average food at best, watery burrito with little flavor, standard refried beans and rice. My wife's taco lunch special arrived barely warm and needed some punch. The best part of the meal were the oversized soft drinks.

I would recommend Jimmy's Tacos for better Mexican food, a little hole in the wall place that is painted bright pink about 1 block south.

“Atmospheric and different”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

A nice, affordable place with a bit of atmosphere. We've tried the wings, fries, loaded nachos and a few of the Tex-Mex offerings and have never been disappointed. Service has been good, even on busy nights and it is a welcome change from the chains.
