4 Adults 2 children (ages 7&9) up early and from the initial meeting Captain Sam made us all feel welcome and very much at ease.He was very patient with the kids. His simple instruction on use of open-faced reels was the best I have ever seen. The boat was comfortable, the equipment good and the total experience was great.Capt. Sam seem to know when a person needed assistance and when they wanted to do it themselves. We all caught fish and more importantly had a great Charlotte Harbor fishing experience.I will ask for Capt. Sam again when booking Kingfisher Fleet. Brian Bertrand Sr

We went on a 4 hour fishing trip today with Captain Sam and had a wonderful time. The kids caught a lot of sheephead, mangrove snapper, flounder, and a speckled trout. We saw a manatee swimming close to our boat. Sam was very attentive and patient with the kids. The weather was bad all around us, but Captain Sam kept us in the safe areas so the kids could keep fishing. We will be doing this trip again with Captain Sam next month and going into other areas if the weather is nice.

It's a pleasant 2 hours plus boat ride from Fisherman's Village to Cabbage Key. Dolphins entertained us a number of times on the way out. The crew was informative and helpful. There were two heads (bathrooms) on board and light refreshments. You can bring your own beer, if you like. The restaurant was busy but efficient. Everyone was served quickly and the prices were reasonable. The seating both up and down on the boat was pleasant. The only downside was the length of stay on the island. After dining there was only about 1/2 hour for touring the key. A little more would have been nice. I would certainly use this company again.

Awesome trip! We went on the Sunday brunch cruise last weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. On the way to Burnt Store, we saw several dolphin...on the way back even more!
Once at Burnt Store we enjoyed brunch at a table overlooking the marina. Food was great..tons of fresh fruit!
When we finished brunch we went for a walk along the docks and saw manatees in the marina! We sat and watched them for the remainder of our time at the marina.
Overall, great cruise and perfect length of time for cruising and layover at Burnt Store for brunch and sightseeing!

We returned today from a 3 day camping trip to Cayo Costa, which has been - also thanks to the King Fisher Fleet - an unforgettable experience... The staff (Capt. Larry, Mate Bruce and Mate Bill) were very friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere on the boat was relaxed, easy-going and homely... With our 3 lively little children (aged 6, 4 and 2) and all the camping staff having to be loaded, we expected the 2 hour cruises to be rather exhausting..., but instead it turned out to be a really pleasant beginning and ending of our holiday. We all loved to see the dolphins shortly following the boat on the way to the island and, on the way back, seeing a pair of a manatees in the Cayo Costa harbor... For landsmen like us (we are from the Czech Republic) this also was a touching adventure... Last but not least, compared to the other available Cayo Costa camper shuttle services, King Fisher offered a reasonable price to our family, since they did not charge for the 2-year old and charged half price to the two older ones.
