Fishermen's Village is a great place for everyone. Just about every week-end there is a special event such as craft show, art show, pirate fest, etc. The restaurants vary from upscale to very casual and all offer outside or inside seating with a great water view. You can definitely spend the day browsing through all the little shops - boutiques, gift shops, candy shops, souvenir shops and even a shop that specializes in games. In the evenings there is usually entertainment in the center stage.

What ever your tastes Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda has something for everyone. Shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment, boating trips, etc. are all found under one roof. What can only be described as a very long covered pier going out into Charlotte Harbor Fisherman's Village is a must see if visiting Punta Gorda.

I have lived in the marina for three winters. Great place to stay. Lots to do in the open air mall there, shopping, bars and restaurants.

Laid back pace with restaurants most with seafood themes boutiques unique shops and a place to book various harbor tours or just sit and have a coffee and people watch. Apts upstairs to rent. Plenty of parking with golf cart pickups during season.

There are many boutiques in the village. In addition, you will find a number of places to eat. I try to visit at the end of the season since that is when items from the shops are on sale.
