Have been here before on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed listening to a session, hoisting a few cold ones in a very typical Irish Pub but St. Patty's Day was a huge disappointment!! No music inside which made no sense and outside under a tent they had a big crowd that sat there listening to the first band playing folk music and songs that Simon and Garfunkel sang. After many complaints we went inside and told bartender to let the owner know that was not what St. Patty's Day is all about. We then heard some Irish music for a short time from same person and then 2 guys came and played some really good Irish music. The food was not appealing and we chose not to buy it. We did let the owner know-he was very defensive and not receptive to feedback. He said we should have come the week before when they had the Irish Festival--seriously??? Well, next year we will be going to Pineapples or Carney's in Venice where hopefully Ken McBride will be putting on a fabulous Irish show as in the past.
