Great resort for comfort, nice and quiet. Great location, doesn't feel like a hotel at all.

What a wonderful way to start off our week with a short and to the point wonderful posting you wrote on Trip Advisor. As we are a Vacation Ownership Resort, we provide all the comforts of home. From full equipped kitchens to the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bedding. We look forward to seeing you again, hopefully in the near future.

Sincerely,

Chris Egan

My husband and I stayed at Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort in Port St. Lucie for the first time last February 2010. It was much colder then so I believe that took away from our experience. We're only here for 2 nights and I'm already dreading having to leave tomorrow. Yes, we are enjoying our second stay a lot more than the first [consider that it is April and not February]. As a Starwood property, it upholds the Starwood name. How many hotels in Port St. Lucie will have a washer and dryer in your room? This is a light-packers' paradise. My husband and I shared one small wheelie because we knew we could do laundry. Tabitha at the Front Desk made us both feel welcome. Please note that there is no fitness room in this Starwood property but the guest service agents, the in-room amenities, and the proximity to Digital Domain [the Mets' spring training stadium] make up for the absence of the fitness room.

Room Tip: Pack light if you choose the hotel [you can do laundry in your room].

Thank you for posting your recent stay on Trip Advisor! To know we made your 2nd visit with us better than the 1st visit is an honor. Even though the washer and dryers are in excellent condition, we will be installed new ones in a few months in all units. I will be sure to share your kind words about Tabitha at our next monthly luncheon celebration. This property is in Phase I of many Phases of building additional units. We plan to build an exercise facility during Phase II construction. We look forward to your next visit with us in the near future!

Sincerely,

Resort is lovely, well tended and clean. Pool is beautiful, with whirlpool, children's play area etc.
The units are well equipped with plenty of towels, pillows, dishes etc. We were disappointed with our ground level two bedroom unit. The shrubbery outside the lanai was overgrown and there was absolutely no view. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by the men who golf during the day and party like frat boys into the wee hours of the morning. Calls to the front desk on two separate nights produced no results. Only stay here if you like to golf during the day and party at night!

Stayed: March 2012

Thank you for posting your recent stay on Trip Advisor! I plan to meet with our professional Landscaping Company this week. We will walk each exterior building to determine if some of the shrubbery can be cut back or trimmed. I apologize for you having inconsiderate, loud neighbors beside your unit. I confirmed with Front Desk and they did call the unit and asked them to quiet down. Apparently they did not, however this is not the normal behavior or type of guests we normally have stay at our Resort. We look forward to your next visit with us in the near future!

Sincerely,

Very quiet resort. Great location if you want to see the NY Mets in Spring Training. Staff at the resort could not have been nicer. Made for a pleasant stay. 2 bedroom unit was great for 4 adults. Pillows were most comfortable I have ever had in a timeshare - wish I brought them home with me. I look forward to coming back here in the future.

Thank you for posting your recent stay at Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort on Trip Advisor! Yes as you stated, the Mets Spring training stadium is very close by. I will share your kind words about my team members at our next monthly luncheon celebration. The pillows are included with the “Sheraton Sweet Sleeper” signature bed package, made exclusively for the Sheraton brand. We had to offer the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bedding package on line as we received so many requests on where to purchase! We look forward to your next visit with us in the near future!

We stayed in a large one bedroom. Well sized and equipped. Very easy access to I 95 for trips either north or south. Nearby stores including Wall Mart and Publix.

Check in was very easy. The welcoming staff was great, everybody very friendly including the custodial staff. The pool was very nice. WIFI worked very well.

As others said, trip to the beach is worthwhile, but traffic is very heavy, especially on Rt 1. The trip can easily take 45 minutes to an hour.

Only negative - our room had two large screen TV's - very nice, but only analog low def service.

The golf courses and the practice areas surround the complex, which makes it very quiet.

Would go back.

Thank you for posting your recent stay on Trip Advisor! This time of year, it can easily take up to 45 minutes to get to the beach as the “snow birds” are here. They will be heading back up north in the next few weeks and the traffic will be reduced. We are currently working with our television cable provider so see if they provide high definition cable to the resort. We hope to confirm if this service is available in our area next week. We look forward to your next visit with us!
