Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: The River Lilly is a 34-passenger pontoon boat, licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and owned by Eddie and Stephanie Hamrick. Eddie is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain. The cruise, on parts of the river so wild they were used in the James Bond film Moonraker to represent a tributary of the Amazon, is on the same waters used by early settlers and Native Americans. Each trip is different, but you're sure to see alligators, turtles and lots of native birds, maybe even playful otters or gentle manatees.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

This is the second time we take this tour. First time was with our son and grandson and they both loved it. This time I had a childhood friend visiting and we really enjoyed it, even more than the first time. They really know their route and have special knowledge of the types of birds in the area. I learned sooo much and it was extremely pleasant. I definitely recommend it. My friend does not speak too much English but she still enjoyed it!

“Best tour! Definite must do!”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

This was our first cruise with River Lily cruises and it was awesome. Deena was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We were able to see Alligators, turtles, osprey, blue and green heron, and butterfly orchids. I will be taking my family the next time they come to visit. Don't forget your camera and binoculars!

“2nd trip as good as the first”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

This was our second trip in 2 years on this boat. The 1.5 hour cruise is very relaxing and the jungle type scenery is worth capturing on film. We got some great osprey photos, as well as an anhinga, the osprey nest and several 10 inch baby alligators. After the cruise we hiked a nature trail that our guide pointed out during the cruise, and came across a tortoise and his hole in the ground. Cash or check only ... no credit cards. $46 for the two of us.

“Don't Miss This Cruise”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

We have taken this cruise twice, and will definitely go again. It is very relaxing, and the guide is perfect. She is great at pointing out things I would never notice, but does not talk excessively which makes the cruise very peaceful. We saw lots of alligators, even some baby alligators that I would never had spotted on my own. The river setting is beautiful, even though is is shared by some speed boats.

“Relaxing and pleasant”
Reviewed March 23, 2014 via mobile

My sister, her husband and I enjoyed our cruise. The guides were very friendly and helpful. We missed seeing manatees, although we understand that this isn't Disney, and wildlife doesn't appear at will! We did enjoy the alligators and wild birds. I got some great photos. If you're looking for relaxation and some communing with nature, this is a worthy choice.
