Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: The River Lilly is a 34-passenger pontoon boat, licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and owned by Eddie and Stephanie Hamrick. Eddie is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain. The cruise, on parts of the river so wild they were used in the James Bond film Moonraker to represent a tributary of the Amazon, is on the same waters used by early settlers and Native Americans. Each trip is different, but you're sure to see alligators, turtles and lots of native birds, maybe even playful otters or gentle manatees.

“Worth the money”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

This trip is well worth the money that they charge. The trip is 1.5 hrs and the guides are very knowable and friendly. They take the time to explain things to you and stop so you can get good pics of the crocs in their homeland. Its a very smooth, peaceful ride. Do it you will love it!

“Better than Disney, 'cause it's real”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

If you want to see what old Florida was like take a cruise on the River Lily. This is a wonderful little treasure right in our own backyard. Just a few blocks from US1 you are transported back in time. A trip on the River Lily is a most enjoyable outing for young and old. The seating is comfortable under the awning and the crew Deema and Dana informative as they point out the wildlife and fauna along the meandering cruise. Almost on cue turtles, birds and gators appear just waiting to have their picture taken. Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of different plants and animals along the trek. Movie buffs will enjoy seeing where the speedboat chase for the 007 movie Moonraker took place. Bring your camera and be ready to snap or just sit back and relax. Take along a picnic lunch and enjoy an outing at the park before or after the trip.

“Don't miss this Gem!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Port Saint Lucie has its pluses and minuses but it does have a "don't miss gem" in its little piece of Florida. It's a rare opportunity in this synthetic, lightening-fast paced world of ours to see what Florida was like before all the concrete conquered it, and maybe a little like it was when the dinosaurs lived here. Pure eco beautiful, sumptuous nature--flora and fauna--truly a don't miss if you have discriminating taste. The owners/operators, Dana and Deana, are a class act. They know everything about the environs, history and how to creat a great river tour out of a great little patch of old, let's say real, Florida. A true gem. Don't miss out!

“A wonderful find”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

A nice way to spend the afternoon and see Florida the way it once was. Lots of wildlife and Deema & Dana do a wonderful job of getting you up close to this hidden part of Florida in the middle of urban sprawl.

I loved seeing all of the turtles, alligators, herons, and kites ( a type of bird). Would recommend to locals and visitors.

“A Magical Trip Close to Home”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

I was fortunate to have taken a trip on the River Lilly last month and I am still thinking about this magical and informative time. Just off a main road, you step onboard a lovely pontoon boat and proceed into "Old Florida". The beauty is both exciting and calming and the narration is full of marvelous details about the area and the wild life. The flora and fauna as well as the birds, turtles and alligators populate a trip designed to show the best of natural Florida. Deena & Captain Dana are knowledgable, fun & gracious hosts. This wonderful trip will not be forgotten soon and I am already looking forward to going again.
