This restaurant in Tradition is always busy, during diner time is not uncommon to have an hour wait. The facility is nice and clean and the service is good.
This time around they where not up to par, I ordered the Outlaw with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar Salad, my wife ordered the Napa Chicken that comes with artichoke hearts, portabella mushrooms and tomatoes in wine sauce with a regular salad. Our friends order the strip steak with baked potato and salad, as the other ordered the Flo Fillet in the under 500 side of the menu for those that are watching the calories with a salad with dressing on the side.
Our salads where delivered promptly with the only problem that the one with dressing in the side came in the salad. Our waitress apologized for her mistake and brought the correct one promptly. The salads where good and fresh.
As to my steak, it looked good as the picture on the menu but this time it had a bland taste, cooked to order, even with adding salt and pepper, could not make this steak to taste any better, this is my favorite steak at Longhorn but for some reason the flavor was not there, the loaded potato was good.
My wife's Napa chicken dish looked very nice on the plate with the fresh vegetables, she took a couple of bites of the chicken and took the rest home. She bit into chicken fat a couple of times and that caused her to loose her appetite.
Both of our friends liked their meals, overall this place has good food and service, it must have been our lucky night.
