Bring bug spray and patience. Long long wait, honor system for drinks, simple menu. May have to share a table. Steamed shrimp came up 15 minutes before crab legs. So 1/2 of our table was eating before others were served.

Top notch raw bar and pub but not a sit down dinner place. Menu is limited to mostly raw or steamed seafood. Oysters, shrimp, crab legs, BBQ(pulled pork). Great Gumbo! Self Serve including the beer. Great place to socialize and have a leisurely lunch bu if you are looking for a sit-down dinner there's better choices in the area .

I am a local and have tried this place several times. I really don't understand why this place stays so busy. It is an okay raw bar at best. Much better places to go for oysters in Panama City or Apalachicola. The food is okay. Not bad, but certainly not great. The service is usually bad because they are usually busy and understaffed. Hard to get a seat and if you are not a large party you will end up sharing a table with strangers. Just not my kind of place.

This place is legendary around Gulf County and with the visitors from AL. & GA who have been visiting Cape San Blas for years. The place is one of those roadside oyster houses that have long ago disappeared. It is a bit of Americana. The raw oysters come form just up the road in Apalachicola and when they bake them you'll wonder why you didn't discover this place years ago.

Food was excellent. We had good beer great oysters crab legs, corn and gumbo. We had no expectations except to enjoy the local flair. We got it! The kids had never tried oysters or crab. We had shells and meat flying...definitely a highlight of our vacation. Service was rated poor but only because that is how it is. You serve yourself. It was great!
