Review of Cape San Blas

We stayed Seas Life beach house at Cape San Blas and loved the white sandy beaches. The area is quiet and peaceful and unpopulated which we loved. The beaches were clean and the shells were plentiful and big. We were down the beach from the Birding Habitat and saw Eagles flying overhead daily. The only complaint I guess I had were the sand fleas and mosquitoes which were terrible.

We loved this quiet town with their pristine beaches and clear water. This was a day drive for us and we enjoyed the quiet peaceful vacation. We will be back next year.

Our family has gone to Cape San Blas for the past 4 years now and planning on going back this summer. Our rental home is already booked and payed for. We have rented from Pristine Properties and Coastal Joes and both have been ok. We have stayed in a different home every year and have stayed on both the Bay side and Beach side . Love either one. Bayside is fun for its kayaking and snorkling and beach side is fun for its beach activities. We always go to the Park to fly our kites and the water gets clearer the closer you are to it. Fishing is a blast there . We have always rented a boat at the local marina and go out on our own to the middle of no where. Its so exciting. The first year we went, we were snorkling almost at the tip of where the bay and ocean meet and a huge hammer head shark came swimming past. It was great. Locals are so friendly there too. Such a clean, secluded, pristine place to spend your vacation. Planning on taking a Scuba coarse with Daly's watersports this time.

It was nice to be able to take a drive to see this place as we had high hopes of being able to lay on the beach for the day. Unfortunately, the promised weather never arrived. Thanks weather reporters everywhere!
Many beautiful beach homes on this cape, and at the very end was a state park. We decided not to explore the park, because it was late in the afternoon, but perhaps next visit we will.

Looking for a quiet, more secluded beach as a relief from the busy, crowded beaches elsewhere, we found this stretch to be just what we were hoping for...beautiful, quiet, shells in abundance, and a great beach to stroll...and without all the no-pet, this-that-and-the-other restrictions we ran into at various places.
