This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. Innkeepers George and Betty were like family. They made sure we were well informed about the property offerings as well as what the area had to offer. Breakfast each morning was fabulous! Eggs Benedict, quiche, waffles, and Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes!! All beautifully garnished with fresh fruit. There are complimentary bikes, beach chairs, canoes and a kayak. Free WI-Fi but you get kicked off when the inn's phone rings... A short walk across the street and you are at the beach. This is the squeaky sand kind of beach. Loved it! This section of the beach wasn't crowded at all when we were there. Our room was comfortable and our big, fluffy bath towels had that right out of the dryer fresh scent. The beds are Sleep Number which we didn't care for. We stayed in the Conch Room which faces the rear deck. We thought there might be a privacy issue with the windows right on the common outdoor area, but it wasn't. This may be the only room without actual outdoor space attached to the room. If an outdoor porch interests you check to see what ones offer it. ConeHeads, at the end of Cape San Blas Road (near the state park) has great burgers and ice cream. We highly recommend Cape San Blas Inn for a quiet, relaxing trip away! We will definitely return!
