Very casual, lacking atmosphere but clean. I had the steamed oysters with butter and cheese which were very good. Hubby had the grouper sandwich which he said was just ok. Waitress was nice and attentive. I would go back.

Had the best crab cake sandwich here! They have a cute little store also and a lot of local people were in and out which is always a good sign!

Had a late lunch/early dinner here on a Sunday. First of all, yes it is also a seafood market, and it did have a certain scent. However, the place was clean and the food was very good. We split the crab cakes, which were very good. Their sides didn't disappoint either. Mac and cheese was cheesy and delicious. Beans were alright, nothing special, excellent potato salad - big hunks of potatoes and tossed in some kind of mayo relish concoction. Cole slaw was also very good. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. We would definitely go back.

We ate here on a week night and while we weren't happy to hear that they were out of oysters, scallops, salad, and a couple other things we preferred that they were out rather than selling food past its prime.

We tried the bronzed grouper and peel-and-eat shrimp. It was all decent but for eating on disposable tableware it was a bit pricey. Also, the sides were ok but nothing wonderful. We might try again since we had a recommendation to try here but with all the other options around we would probably hesitate to go back.

The cheese grits were a nice side option. Also the she-crab soup was tasty.

Tried this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews. This restaurant is also a seafood market as the name implies and the smell as we entered let you know quickly what it was. Probably should have left but decided to give it a try. We were quickly seated as we were the only one's there. We had a table by a big window facing the parking lot . The window had numerous flies crawling over it and dead flies on the sill. We decided to move to another table which worked out well until our food came and the flies decided to join us. Our waiter was very friendly and recommened the baked fish with crab meat. I got the fish and my wife ordered the sauteed crab claws. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time but was disappointing. The fish come in chunks surrounding a mound of crab stuffing covered with bread crumbs. The fish was mushy and the dish was bland. The crab claws were some of the smallest I have seen in a restaurant and were practically floating in butter when they arrived. There was an additional container of melted butter served with the dish but it congealed about 5 minutes after arriving at the table. The claws weren't very attractive and the taste wasn't any better. The food and drinks are served in styrofoam containers and the plastic utinsels are in baskets on each table where the flies can crawl on them. We were at the restaurant for about an hour and no one else ate there. I don't think we will revisit Bailey's.
