Ordered a hot dog which was yummy and a chocolate milkshake. I've had better from a cheap fast food joint. It was watered down with very little flavor. Cute spot, but not likely to return.

My husband and I look forward to going to Steamers. We have been the past two years when we are in Port St. Joe. Everything we have had has been good. The man that owns Steamers seems to be a very good person who is trying to make a living. Don't complain with your mouth full.

Steamer's has the potential to be a top lunch spot in Port St. Joe but it's just a little short on some originality with the dogs. Positioned on a corner with curbside parking in downtown Port St. Joe, Steamer's has screened in outdoor seating that is very relaxing. With over a dozen dogs to choose from, we picked the naked dog (hot dog on a bun), the bacon cheddar dog (with a fried dog) and the chili cheese slaw dog. Also ordered fresh cut fries to share (ala Five Guys). Dogs are in the $3 - $5 range w/o fries. There are also burgers but we did not sample them. With all that said, everything was good but nohting was great. Our suggesting would be custom buns (the ones served are like the ones at the store), bigger dogs, or something that makes it stand out more. Love the multiple brands of hot sauce on the table - now that's southern style! We look forward to trying it again when we next visit Port St. Joe.

This place looked really old fashioned and good, but do not allow looks to deceive you. There was only one other family in the diner and we had to wait 20 minutes for hotdogs! The hotdogs tasted like chicken weenies and worst of all, they looked like they were boil (not sure). We also ordered milkshakes because the cashier (who was also the cook!!!) claimed they were homemade…yeah, maybe from discounted unnamed brand ice-cream! The music was terribly loud with some type of 80's metal music, not a family place at all.

This place is WAY overpriced! The hotdogs were double what one would pay in New York. Save yourself the money and buy a pack of weenies from the grocery store and grilled them by the bay.
