Admittedly, they were pretty busy when we ate here, but our waitress was definitely distracted as another reviewer commented. We pushed theough though and ordered the blue crab dip which was amazing! Highly recommend it. We ordered the fish tacos and catfish basket as entrees. I would have liked to see more fish in the tacos, but they were good. My husband got two of the biggest catfish pieces he'd ever seen! Breaded to perfection and quite good. The homemade key lime pie was really great as well! There wasn't much of an atmosphere and the service was lacking, but the food was pretty good.

We decided to try Triple Tails after driving by many times during our vacation. We had stopped by earlier to check out the seafood in their market. What we saw in the market looked really good. In fact we carried some of it back to ATL for an after vacation treat.
Driving up for supper we found the inside area nearly full, but the deck nearly empty. We opted to sit out and enjoy the nice night. The deck looks out on the gravel parking lot. Luckily there was very little traffic that night.
We found that the seafood entrees were very good, nicely prepared, and came promptly from the kitchen. As seems to happen in many small communities the regulars got attentive service, the visitors got minimal effort. At times service was completely MIA. Checking back, getting refills, even getting the check required 'going on the hunt'. Generally they tried to be helpful, but at times you had to wonder. BUT service at many PSJ restaurants often seems to make you wonder. And yes, ATL restaurant service does spoil you.
So, bottom line, Yes, when we return we'll try them again. AND the seafood we bought and carried back has been amazing. We'd rate the seafood market quality *****.

I have been to this place over the last three years. It started as a Tiki Bar with bands, volley ball, bag toss, etc.

This year they have opened a classy ,casual restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. The food is to die for. This is the best place near Cape San Blas. I have been 5 times in last couple of months and it is a two hour drive each way!

Rumor has it that the owner uses her own recipes. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had with the romoulade sauce, hushpuppies & coleslaw. Finish it off with apiece of key lime pie. All home made. The menu is diverse with burgers, grouper and chicken sandwiches to fresh fish specials caught right in the Gulf. They also have oysters raw, Greek, cheeddar & bacon, etc..There is a full bar in the restaurant as well out at the Tiki.

This place is a hidden gem on C30A for locals, tourists, etc. It is reasonably priced from 6.99 to 18.95 for a complete fresh entrée with mixed green salad.

Good People & Consistently good food. I bring my dogs if I sit outside.

Read some of the other reviews and almost seems as if some of us ate at some restaurant in some alternative reality, because our experience the several times we've eaten here has been good. Price is commensurate with surrounding area, food quantity was ample and the quality of our meals has been uniformly good. I've eaten here with groups and with just my wife and the service has been uniformly good, attentive and very friendly.

Sorry, I'm not going to rate this place highly. The sandwiches and hush puppies we got as take out from Triple Tails were almost amateurish in their execution. Take a big loaf, put some flavorless fish, or clams, or crab, or whatever on it, serve it up and call it done. Really disappointing. And pretty expensive for what we got.
