We decided to eat at Provisions in downtown Port St. Joe when the Mexican restaurant next door had a waiting list and people crowded outside. I'm glad we did! The restaurant was cool and quiet, service quick and friendly, and the food was great.
I'm not a big fan of fish, but the seared Ahi tuna with wasabiyaki sauce was good, my salad was full of chopped veggies (rather than just lettuce) and grilled chicken with a light viniagrette, and the chicken piccata was exactly what my tastebuds were craving. Dessert was "death by chocolate," a layered confection of cookie crust, fudge, mousse and whipped cream.
Overall, I was very pleased with dinner. For two of us, with one appetizer, one "petit" salad, two entrees, one dessert and two iced teas, the bill was around $60.
