We were at this restaurant on a Saturday night in late February when they had entertainment, The Goldtones, who were playing there once a month. (Four guys who sing 1950's songs; excellent if you are the right age for this genre!) Other groups were playing other Saturday nights .... not sure about week nights re: entertainment.
Anyway, the room (upstairs, not the main restaurant) was packed when we arrived at 6:45. Not sure if it always is but it was when we were there. And that was the problem; they did not have enough staff so it was a long wait to get a drink (about 15 minutes after we ordered) and a 40 minute wait for our dinners. (Friends at another table waited over an hour for their dinners.)
The food was fine; not memorable but fine. The price was very reasonable in my opinion (but I always think so in Florida.) And there is a great view of the water; sunset was beautiful that evening. (It was a cold night se we were indoors; I believe it's outdoors in better weather ... not sure.)
If there is a group playing that you want to see, I would certainly recommend going to Portofino for dinner that evening. (Maybe it's faster if you arrive early and order ASAP?). Just do not go if you are very hungry; if there is a big crowd, you won't eat very soon. In truth, that was not a problem for us, since we had had a snack in the afternoon.
