We had such a great time at Mickler's beach with the kids. Very clean, good parking and police presence is always a plus at public beaches.

Public bathroom with outdoor showers. Lots of shells but beach wasn't that big. The waves were a lot bigger than at Jacksonville and the water wasn't as salty which was a plus but the water kept getting too close to our stuff since the beach area wasn't that wide. Lots of food & trash on beach when we were there from people not cleaning up or the water washing up before they found move. We went in a Friday around 6pm and it was crowded but beautiful area

We live very close to this beach so like to come here often for an early morning stroll, especialy when it is low tide. Beach is very wide and very clean. In the early morning hours there are just a few people there either going for a walk on the beach or trying to get "THE" great photo of the sun rising. Every once in a while you will see a cruise ship or fishing boat of the coast. Otherwise look up and watch the multi-million dollar homes that straddle the coastline. The beach has undergone some renourishment following Hurricane Matthew and many of the homeowners have also enlarged the dunes. Overall, Very relaxiing and enjoyable. Presently there is free parking at Mickler's Landing but my understanding is the County may start charging a nominal fee, so best get out there soon to take advantage of it.

This beach is just okay. The sand is not your white powdery sand but rather course, yellowish crushed shells. There are times when the sand has lots of larger shells and times when it's just the crushed shells. Maybe it has to do with the tide? Anyway, there are times and areas of this beach that are hard to walk on barefoot because it hurts your feet. The beach is also pretty narrow but it's free and there are some beautiful houses to look at if you stroll along the beach. Parking can fill up on weekends and at busy times. Could definitely use a larger parking lot. There are showers and bathrooms near the parking lot so that's a plus but no place to get food within walking distance. Oh and they allow dogs on leashes.

We live nearby and walk there several times a week. Hurricane took out the boardwalk so only sandy entrance. Usually "crowded" on weekends but actually, if you walk 100 yards north or south, you can be away from the crowds. Surf, shark teeth hunting and beach are all very good.
