This is a really clean park and very much worth the visit. At only $4 per car bring you picnic and enjoy the day. No overnight camping - would have loved to tent here.

Ponce de Leon Springs are just beautiful and a great place for picnicking and swimming, that is if you can stand the cold, cold water. Well worth the small entrance fee to a state park.

The state park is small but maintained. There is the springs to swim in and the water is very clear. There are walking trials that states it takes 30 mins to complete, it took us 10 mins. We stopped because we had past the signs for the state park on a pervious trip through Florida and I had goggled it. The pictures on their web site are correct. It's just so small. $4 for a car load and the water is COLD. We went on a Monday and nobody was there, went back on a Wednesday to show some other kids and it was packed. Hit or miss, but neat to see if its on your way and you need a break in traveling. It's like 5 mins off interstate 10.

The state park seems well maintained and was fun to visit. I swam for a bit and walked the nature trail for around thirty minutes. There is a four dollar charge to get entrance to the park and there are picnic tables, bathrooms and explanations of the wildlife and aquifer system. The water itself is 68 degrees and crystal clear. It felt great as the temperature outside was in the 80's.

The fee to get into the park is well worth it.
The restaurant on site of phenomenal, and the staff is really willing to help you plan your day depending on your interests.
Absolutely beautiful.
