“Houston's”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

We ended up here because we passed it while driving. The food was very good. My boyfriend had the Ahi tuna salad which was outstanding. I had one of their specials, grouper. We were surprised when we got the bill because most of the items on the menu were under $28. My special was $32! I would not have ordered it if I had known it was that much. Make sure you ask the specials prices.

“Excellent Food and Staff”
Reviewed March 28, 2013 via mobile

Houston's has been a staple in Broward county for many years. The tradition of excellence still exist. The food is always well prepared and the mojito's are perfect. The wait is sometimes to long but food service is available at the bar if it just a few of you.

“Great food!”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

This restaurant is huge but dont let the size put you off. It certainly can deliver in the food department. My wife had the black bean burger with a kale salad and I had the ribs and what a delight it was. We would love to get our hands on the recipe for the kale salad if anyone out there has it, please let us know.
We had a great evening there and would definitely recommend it.

“Great food”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We always make a stop here on our yearly trip to Florida. Very good food.

The parking lot is rather small. Get there early if you prefer self park, otherwise valet is complimentary. There is out door dining area on the water. They have several tables, but they fill up fast. Best bet is to arrive at opening before lunch crowds or go at off times before the dinner rush. It does get crowded fast and there are long waits. The views are beautiful. If you have a boat and cruise the intracostal waterway you can dock your boat at the pier and get off and have lunch or dinner.. They have attendants working the pier. Be aware to dress appropriately. Shoes, shirt, etc. this is not a bar/ restaurant you can go to in your bathing suit.

We have had the burgers... Very good, so is the BBQ chicken. Everything looks fresh and is delicious. Other people were ordering their large salads for lunch... All looked tasty.

Their key lime pie is fantastic. The crust is made out of crushed walnuts and cinnamon. it's topped with fresh whipped cream. Best I have tasted... That alone is worth the trip.

Do keep in mind this is not a cheap place to eat. Lunches and entrees at $15 and up. A burger is about $ 16. It's a good place to go to once in awhile. Good place for business lunches.

Overall good food but pricey.

Families do eat here, ask the staff what is on the kids menu. They do not provide one.
They do serve kids drinks in small plastic covered cups with straws.

“Yummyt food, fun atmosphere, great service”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

One of our favorite restaurants. Indoor/outdoor seating. Always a busy place so if you want to sit outside, go at an 'off' time. I love their veggie plate, my husband likes their shaved prime rib sandwich. I especially like the cous cous and cole slaw. Salads have all been good. Appetizers are yummy. Service quick and efficient. We try to go a couple of time a month to get our 'Houston's fix'. Valet parking, nice jeans. Sometimes see some shorts but it is a little upscale. it is fun to sit outside and watch the boats go by.
