A little hidden secret in Pompano Beach. The food is amazing and always fresh and made to order. Family run restaurant with great service. We found this place by accident and now go there about once or twice a week.

I went to the restaurant with a group of 14 people , the waiter who his one of the sons of the owner treated us as if we were part of his family. All the food is made after you order it nothing is pre-made or microwaved. The cooks are the owners (mother & father) of the waiter, we were given appetizers to try and it was no problem if someone wants something made with substitutes. You never feel rushed to eat and leave. The atmosphere is very homey and very old world sicilian style dining. I would recommend this place to families, large groups or even just single people or couples. If you want some place special to celebrate that special event in your life this is the place to go.Kathi from New York

My family has eaten here three times in the past month (once with a group of 10 and twice with smaller groups). We all agree that every pasta dish we tried was wonderful. Especially liked the cheese ravioli and the pasta with oil and garlic. I think our waiter (Joe) was also the chef as he knew all menu options and his recommendations were met with enthusiasm. we had a coupon for a free appetizer, which was panchetta and mortadella (not certain of the spelling). Three salads were sufficient for the party of ten. I believe that the correct name of the restaurant is Mediterraneo Cucina Siciliana. There were some specialities from Sicily on the menu.
If you are having trouble finding the restaurant, it is across the street from Hertz and next to an art store.

We went here expecting the Point Café and ice cream and instead found a wonderful Sicilian restaurant in its place. It had only been open for 7 weeks, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The menu is not large, but everything is fresh (they don't even have a freezer!) and bought every day. Don't forget to ask for the specials too! The service is fast too! Its a little hard to find as the parking lot is behind the restaurant and if you go in the back door you have to walk thru an art shop first - which is not bad, kinda fun in fact. Joe was a great waiter and a lot of fun. Try this place out. They even said that on weekends when they serve veal (only Fri-Sun) they would make Veal Parm for my husband even if it wasn't on the menu! We went early so I don't know if you'll need a reservation as it doesn't have many tables. Try it, you'll like it!!
