“Authentic Sicilian”
Review of Casareccio - CLOSED

Casareccio
Price range: $20 - $100
Description: Italian Trattoria Restaurant. Trattoria means less formal than a restaurant but more formal than osteria. Casual tavern serving authentic Italian cuisine. People find it a relax, casual dining where you can reset or reboot for the next day of work. Just like seeing Nonna and she whips up anything available for the whole family or one.

This is a small, family-owned restaurant. It seats about 25 people and is in a former BBQ restaurant. We started with calamari and arancini (Sicilian rice balls) and had several different pastas. All the good was excellent and cooked by the restaurant owner. The owners' son and co-owner are the food servers, and the service is warm and friendly. Also, the drinks are reasonably priced. Since it's small and home-cooked, don't go if you're in a hurry. A very enjoyable meal and we would definitely go again.

This is a great place. Fantastic food and service. All of the food is prepared to order with top notch ingredients. Sal the chef and his family always make you feel welcomed.
The menu changes every week or so, so there is always something new to try with a good wine selection as well.
My wife and I eat there 2 to 3 times a week and it continues to get better.
I recommend this little neighborhood hidden gem to any foodie looking for some real, authentic, fresh homemade Sicilian fare, don't miss Emylie's homemade deserts!
A warm casual rustic atmosphere for casual to semi formal dress.

Only five weeks since this charming restaurant opened its doors but it is already fully operational and ready to deliver scrumptious food and impeccable service. The owners are committed to only serving the freshest ingredients. They change the menu weekly and shop daily for the best seasonal ingredients and it certainly shows. We had pasta Bolognese and Gnocchi Pomodoro Fresco both which were excellent! The Gnocchi is is made from ricotta cheese instead of from potatoes and it is divine. The menu is attractively written on a large chalkboaird wall and adds a lot to the rustic atmosphere. You will not be disappointed!

We saw great review for this place and thought we would try it for father's day. The atmosphere was warm, the food was fantastic, and the service was great. A lovely family operation. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially if you are looking for excellent Italian food.
