dont get a lot of chances to play golf much these days, but our group had a tournament at this course and everything went well even though a spot of rain came around , but just for a short bit.

Just finished my first round at Plantation Preserve golf course and came away very impressed. The course is very well maintained from tees, fairways, and greens to hazards, bunkers and everything in between. There are 4 sets of tees to choose from, each with a challenging setup, and a very long and challenging 7100+ yards from the tips. Options from the tee vary and there are a lot of risk reward holes. I really enjoyed the island style greens, particularly on the challenging 9th hole and some of the par 3's. The greens are firm and fast but run fair and true. Rough is not too bad, but the firm fairways give excellent lies and run. I didn't find the staff to be rude at all, in fact, they were quite pleasant. I played during twilight hours in the summer months and paid less than $40. Pace was quick, just over 4 hours. In addition to the great course, this is probably also one of the best practice facilities in the area. Excellent driving range and putting greens.

This is a Q school sight, cant' imagine how hard the course must play if they let the rough grow and play from the tips, but would be fun to watch.

An excellent value and beautiful course, definitely worth a try. Notable comparable courses in the area include Jacaranda as others have mentioned, however, I really enjoyed Plantation Preserve more. Will have to play several more rounds to make a final decision on that though as both courses are very good.

The course is challenging and the grounds well kept. The kids golf programs and instructors are excellent. There is a nice walking trail and a tot playground as well. However, the pro staff, particularly the director of golf, are absolutely rude to non-members (helping us make the decision NOT to continue our membership). We always tell friends to send the kids to Nick and Barry for excellent and fun instruction, but play at Jacaranda to avoid the peevish Plantation Preserve staff.

This is a nice course but very tight, a lot of water and very challenging . Staff not overly friendly. Nice restaurant , easy location to get to and decent pricing. I much prefer Jacaranda Country Club though where you have 2 courses to choose from and much friendlier people.
