Traditional southern cuisine. I've had co-workers drive 40 minutes to this place. The quality and taste of the food is amazing. Served buffet style, but a diverse menu is available too.
Breakfast: Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc.
Lunch/Dinner: catfish, fried chicken, green beans, grits, meatloaf, etc
10-13 dollars for the buffet.
During the week, breakfast service isn't too bad. Dinner has a 5-10 minute wait. Saturday Sundays are extremely busy during breakfast and lunch/dinner. Be prepared to wait up to 20-30 minutes for a table.
Once seated, you'll have a waitress take your drink order. At that time, you can simply go to the buffet to get what you want, or you can order from the menu. The quality of service is fairly average, with the waitress mainly refilling your drinks.
From a local perspective, this place really brings in the people. It has a home-town feel that echos Plant City history. For out-of-towners who are unfamiliar with southern cooking, this is a great, friendly place to visit, but plan ahead.
