We decided to try Buddy Freddy's at the last minute on a Sunday morning (11:00) but didn't really know what to expect. It is strictly buffet and the dinner offerings come out at 11am on Sundays, no breakfast foods anywhere, so no brunch.
It is a large restaurant with lots of tables and a few booths around the perimeter. They are very able to cater to large parties, a good thing if you have a big family or lots of friends and many tables were the large groups, but the noise volume was not bad. In fact, it was much better than would have been expected with so many large groups.
We found the wait staff pleasant enough, but other than drinks (extra charge) they don't have a lot of need to contact diners. The offerings are strictly buffet, with plenty of options, though the food was not particularly special. If I were blindfolded, it would have been difficult to differentiate between some of the options. The salad choices were adequate but not spectacular, grain "bacon bits" rather than real were very disappointing. Lots of options for dessert, but again, nothing spectacular.
The food is ordinary and the wait staff pleasant but not particularly outgoing. If you have a large group and need an accommodating place, this is it, but it is really nothing special. At least the parking lot is big and the surroundings pleasant.
