Happened to go to Dinosaur World the other day quite unexpectedly, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the attraction and the fact that our two little grandsons were totally involved in seeing all the different types of dinosaurs on display as well as the very appropriately written descriptions on the walls.

Very nice playground and beautiful gift shop.

Too bad there is no restaurant on the premises - we had to search the area for a place to have lunch, though we noticed that lots of people brought their lunches with them and used the plentiful tables and benches.

A little surprised that people were allowed to SMOKE in the area near the playground and picnic tables and the fact that you were allowed to bring your dog in.

My husband and I have driven by Dinosaur World several times a year for years, each time vowing to stop in on the next trip. Finally we did, and we had a blast. The park is clearly designed for families, and for sure kids should love the place. We did. We arrived around noon on Christmas Eve, so the park was very sparsely attended - for us, as big plus. The museum surprised us, we weren't expecting authentic fossils and found the exhibits well organized and explained. But we were there for the cheesy fun, so our favorite part of the museum came at the end with the animatronic dinos. Love 'em. Then we followed the walk to see the giant dinosaurs among the tropical foliage. Even in my wildest hopes, I could not have anticipated the carnivorous walkway with it's ominous sign warning that it might be too graphic for young children. Those dinosaur eating dinosaurs were just great, each one better than the last. Not sure too many kids would be afraid, despite the signs. Overall, Dinosaur World had a 60s theme park feel from a more innocent time. Fun for all, inexpensive, good gift store..... unless you crave the hyper-stimulation of CGI graphics or the lines of Disney, you should enjoy Dinosaur World.

We have a 2 year old and buying a season pass to Dinosaur World is one of the best decisions we have made. In a section of Florida where everything is over-the-top touristy and crowded, DW is a welcomed change of pace. If you have children under the age of 10, this is a must! Do not judge the park by your preconceived notions from I4...go inside and check it out.

Dinosaur World is a must see if you are traveling between Orlando and Tampa, or for any dino-enthusiast. I am one of those people who believes that places like this are a part of Americana - In our current, 4G, Walmart, super-size me society we all need to stop and visit places like this.

Its a very clean, well kept attraction with lots of entertaining information. Be prepared to do a lot of walking, although the park is spaced out in some beautful, natural woods with lots of shade. Also, I am not sure if you are allowed to bring in foods, but I saw some great picnic type areas and there isnt much for sale inside the park, so I would reccomend you come prepared - it will take you several hours to see everything. We also did the dig for a few dollars extra, which was very cute for the kids. They have a nice playground for the kids and a fanstastic gift shop, too.

I also thought it was a great value - they really dont charge you a lot for all that you get to see. I would reccomend this park to anyone with $20 - you will love it!

We went with our grandchildren and had a terrific visit. Our grandson is into dinosaurs. He is just under 3 years old. He would get so excited at each station. The park is very clean with some excellent children's play areas and picnic areas. Going in late fall was good as no Mosquitos. Since it is in swampland - be cautious on summer visits. Very well done and enjoyable for youngsters fascinated by these creatures. When going just know it is mainly walking through the swamp and museum to see life size replicas of dinosaurs. We recommend for young kids interested in dinosaurs. Take a lunch to have a picnic in the park.
