Fun for the kids and everyone will enjoy the adventure. Go and have some fun with the entire family. A great way to spend an afternoon in the shaded walkways

Go in the morning before it gets hot. Kids have the energy to walk through this. We had a great time , I got a bit tired, but well worth the trip. Grandaughter second visit, she is 21/2 and she was having a great time again. She was a little young for the automated exhibit, a little scary.

We passed this attraction at least 100 times in our travels and decided to stop this time after visting another Florida attraction. We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2 pm, 91 degrees. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there seems to be ample parking. It is a walking tour - so wear your good walking shoes. After paying our admittance fee - we entered the sculptured world of the dinosaur. We were greeted by a couple of motorized dinosaur ( the only ones) in the musem and viewed the many displayed fossiles. Then we were off to the plath. There are scheduled times for the kids to search for fossils (additional fee) and it was fun watching the little ones sift through the sand and find a fossil- then select the ones they wanted to take home. The displays were informative and the pathways were about 85% shaded at 2 pm with very little breeze. It is a great place for the kids - although Mom and Dad may have have to read the discriptions of the displays. There is a playground for the kids to burn off some of their energy. There are plenty of shaded picnic tables and there were at least two birthday parties going on during our visit. The gift shop has everything you can imagine for the dinosaur world. Recommendations: take water, wear good walking shoes and take your time and enjoy watching the excitement of the little ones as they react to the displays. Then go home and watch a "Jurassic Park" movie and see how many dinosaur you can name.

I enjoyed my visit to Dinosaur World. It is cheesy, but cute. Reminds me of old Florida roadside attractions such as Weeki Watchee and Marineland. Great for kids that love dinosaurs. It is a peaceful setting, and there are picnic tables and a playground. Good spot for kid's birthday parties. You can usually find BOGO admission coupons if you do an internet search, and BOGO coupons are also in the Entertainment Book. They have also added to the park this summer, and now have a museum with fossils and some animatronic dinosaurs.

Nothing to see but the statues, I went geocaching outside of the park and decided to try. A little pricey for me but I guess if you need something to do take the kids here.
