Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina
Reviewed July 22, 2013

We LOVED this rv park. We stayed just one night on our way to PCB. It was a small rv park, but plenty of room for our 40ft rig to maneuver around. It was extremely clean and they were constantly cleaning while we were there. The staff were very polite & helpful. It was so nice to watch the boats come through and I would defintely recommend paying the extra $20 bucks to be waterfront. We ate at the Oyster Bar which was within walking distance & was also excellent! I would highly recommend this rv park.

We live in Navarre, FL which isn't too far from Perdido Cove Marina and RV Resort. This is to us a luxury resort compared to the place we had just been to. We stopped there on the way home from a trip and spent 3 nights there. We have a 39' motor home and the spots were plenty big enough and were gravel and the streets were paved. No pickers and no bugs! What a great place to be right there on the intercoastal and see the boats go by. They have a decent size pool which we enjoyed. Great restaurants in the area also. We liked the Sunset Grille for a casual place on the water. Original Oyster Bar is very very close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is great to hear that you had a wonderful stay at our RV Resort. I agree it is relaxing to just sit back and see the boats going by on the Intercoastal waterway. Please see us again. Thank you for your review.

Super clean and manicured. Very friendly staff. Bathrooms only had 1 shower each but exceptionally clean and user friendly. Could here the bridge traffic noise, but it was not a problem. Very level sites. It did seem a trek to Pesacola and Mobile for some tourist attractions, but a perfect location for beautiful beaches within minutes. Some of our favorited restaurants were some that were within minutes as well. We stayed a week and can't wait to go back next year for spring break! We did have one of the smallest sites, but were still not disappointed.

Room Tip: Looking forward to our reservation on the water next year.

We spent the months of January and March at this park. We loved everything about it. It is right on the water. We had a long lovely site that backed up to the pool. We had room on our site to park our 31 ft travel trailer, a Ford F-250 and my Nissan. The grounds are beautiful and they take very good care of them. They have a nice pool, laundry room and restrooms. The club house is really nice and they decorate it for holidays-Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's, etc. There are lots of activities also.
The staff are all very nice, especially the manager, Sharon, who is incredibly helpful.
This is one of the nicest rv parks we have ever stayed in and is so convenient to so many things, especially Johnson Beach. Being on the water is such a plus also. It is a little pricey but you do get what you pay for.

We just finished a one week stay at this great campground. It just doesn't get much better than this. It's on the higher end price wise, but as they say "you get what you pay for". Perfect restrooms and laundry, super nice sites, pool in the center of the campground. Grounds crew was on the spot cleaning up sites about 5 minutes after a rig left. I want to give special thanks to Sharron (Manager) for keeping us in mind for a waterfront site. She always had a great smile!! There was some noise from the nearby (almost overhead) bridge from the expansion joints, but for us it wasn't bad. The location is great for grocery shopping and restaurants. Give Lillian's Pizza a try it's a couple of miles to the east and they deliver.

Room Tip: Waterfront sites might be worth the extra charge for the view.

I would agree this is a nicely maintained, tidy, perhaps even sanitized RV Park. Well organized pull through graveled sites. Friendly staff, as well. A good spot to stay overnight if you are in the area. Every traveler has their priorities, these things were missing for us so I gave it an average rating. We stayed only one night, instead of the two nights as planned.

If you aren't lucky enough to get a front row site by the water, be prepared to be squeezed into a fairly small spot, surely large enough for most RV/Trailers, but very close to your neighbor on each side, with no vegetation. The park/resort location is easy to find, but a trek from Hwy 10 if you are in travel mode. It is beside an elevated 2 lane highway, that was fairly noisy for a Sunday morning. In February, it is not necessary to have shade, but in Florida's summer months, with no trees, except a couple small palms, it could be excessively hot. Travelers parked next to us said their complaint was, it's a long drive to things they wanted to do, good restaurants included, so we stayed in.

We were greeted nicely, and they were agreeable when we cancelled the second night. Please know we did not cancel because Perdido Cove is not up to our high standards, it just
didn't warrant an extra day and night for the price, but perhaps we'd have happily stayed if we were at the water. If we were in that particular area of Florida, we'd surely spend a night, but in reading other reviews, perhaps we missed good local restaurants. So be more adventurous than we were when we stopped by in late February. In our opinion, it was overpriced at $67.00 per night

Found this place when in Perdido in 2010, made reservations immediately! for the next year, stayed in 2011 and loved it! Met some nice people including snowbirds that were like being with family, close to everything including Johnson Beach, restaurants, Blue Angels not too far. Oyster Bar - close enough to walk - was excellent food and good service.....going back again and this time in the "front row"!! Can't wait!

Room Tip: All the rv sites are good....very clean place!
