“Nothing special and over priced.”

We went here while on vacation specifically to eat shrimp po boy. It wasn't worth the effort. The food was average. The bread isn't real French bread but just a plain hoagie roll. Not what a real shrimp po boy should use! The shrimp was okay, but didn't taste overly fresh or seasoned. It was very over priced as nothing was included for a side. It was $2.50 extra for five onion rings! We could have eaten at a real seafood restaurant for what we paid here. The sweet tea was not good at all. More like sweet water. The Barq's was good, but that's no reason to eat here. It's fast and convienent, but you'd be better off going some place else for authentic seafood po boys.

“ok dinner”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

Very busy....had to wait...hostess was not very friendly. It had just rained and all the benches outside were wet....we asked for a towel to dry them while we waited....she gave us a pretty nasty look and then threw us a dirty wet towel to dry seats! Food came pretty quickly. Shrimp were good....corn was too soggy to eat. Service was ok. But we were pretty hungry and food satisfied our hunger

“Great food with lots of character”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

We visited for early dinner with a party of 14. Had to wait a few minutes to be seated. This place is a rundown dive...my favorite!!!! Food was delicious. Fresh and well cooked. I highly recommend it!

“Awesome boiled shrimp!”

We had the "all you can eat" boiled shrimp. It was excellent!!! We sat outside, there are fans that blow a cool mist on you when it's hot.

“Excellent Seafood!!!!”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

We decided to get takeout for our last night in Perdido Key and wish we had gone to this place earlier in our stay. Everything we ordered was fantastic from the stuffed crab to steamed shrimp. The shrimp slaw was tasty too, as was the shrimp and gumbo. I would definitely recommend getting food from this place early during your stay, so you can get it more than once!!
