On the hill over the white sandy beach of Pensacola Bay, very nice room, friendly service. Breakfast to go was included, just pick up a bag in the lobby and bring up to your room. 2 different breakfast to go bag options.....one had a muffin and small yogurt, the other had a bagel and cream cheese and a breakfast bar. Both bags included a small cup of OJ, and there was great coffee too. Our room included a small refrigerator and microwave too. Our balcony looked out to the water. Right across the street from the Naval Aviation Museum, a short walk to the Pensacola Lighthouse. Great location for an enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony view to the back so you can see the water.

Stayed here 30JAN-04FEB of 2012. Nice accommodations and good service near the water and near many sites of general interest. Our first time in the "Panhandle" area of Florida. Ready to go again soon...

Room Tip: All with view of the water. We were at ground level. I would say upper floors good too. So??? Relax...

We booked two rooms from 4 - 10 August. Each room had two queen beds, flat screen TV, balcony facing the beach, and a small kitchenette (minus cooking). The rooms were well maintained and appointed, housekeeping was efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Serve yourself coffee was available in the lobby area from 0600-1200 and "grab-and-go" breakfasts were available until 0900. There is a small NEX in the lobby area. The lodge is located about 300 yards from the beach, 1/2 mile from the Naval Aviation Museum, Pensacola Lighthouse, and Ft Barrancas, and about 1 1/2 miles from a marina where you can rent boats for the day. Overall this is an excellent place to stay and I only have one complaint. There are 102 rooms, and .......... only 2 BBQs. If you want to grill and dont get in early, you have to make arrangements with the current "cook". One added bonus to the location of the lodge is that The Blue Angels fly directly over the lodge every Wednesday and Thursday during the weekly practices; you can video them from either your balcony or the 4th floor picnic\rest areas - awesome.

Room Tip: I would ask for a room on the 4th floor for the best views (there are elevators). Live oaks partial...

The lodge provides a nice room at a very affordable price for service members, veterans and their families. We stayed last month and are now staying again. You can't get any better than this! Plus, the on post beach is nearby!

The lodge is on the beach. Walk from the lodge to shower area and beach. Very clean and neat place to stay. Service is excellent at the lodge and at the Reed Golf Course. First course I have ever been able to drive over water to the back nine, Awesome. Also have the jets and helo's flying over while you play. Very reasonable costs. Has small frig, coffee pot and micro.

Room Tip: West side of building is better and closer to the NCO Club.

Stayed at Navy Lodge with 3 boys while in town for baseball. The beach was clean and quiet and I did not have to worry about them getting lost. The staff was helpful in everyway possible. The rooms are clean and have everything you need in them. If not, ask the front desk and they will make sure you get it quickly. DO NOT miss the museum!!! The elevators are slow but plenty of stairs to get you to your room quickly. The bagged breakfast is exactly what it is sold as, a muffin or bagel and a juice. Nothing special but free. We WILL be coming back!!!

We stayed at the Navy Lodge in Pensacola from July 6 through July 15th. The rooms were very clean and AC nice and cold. The grounds were kept beautifully manicured and someone was always outside sweeping and maintaining the grassy areas. We particularly enjoyed the hammock section and after a day at the beach, loved coming back to the hammocks and relaxing. The beach area was beautiful, just a short walk from our room. There were lifeguards on duty every day we went down the beach. It was practically empty most days, so it gave the feel of a private beach. The sands were fluffy and white and the water crystal clear. We enjoyed the view of the lighthouse, which is right there at the beach and watching the planes practicing during the day. For the price you pay, what a great value! I would highly recommend this place to anyone heading to the area.

Room Tip: We stayed on the fourth floor. We could see the beach from the room, but the view was blocked by tre...
