We hadn't been to Picasso's, though it opened in November 2013. On a friend's recommendation, we tried it and are very pleased to add a another seemingly reliable spot to the restaurant roster. We shared two appetizers: the Can You Dig It phyllo triangles with a chorizo and cheese stuffing, and the Mushrooms Veronique stuffed with red grapes and a Boursin-like herbed cheese. Each was served as three pieces, nicely garnished and presented, and both were flat out delicious. We then shared the Porgy and Bess stuffed pork tenderloin, and the Just Ducky with a gorgonzola/apple crisp topping a duck confit. Again, both dishes were really excellent, though the pork was a tiny bit chewy, and the gorgonzola almost drowned out the duck. For dessert, we shared a tasting plate of varied chocolate truffles with wines and ports. And again, the dish was spot on. We can't properly evaluate the music or interior ambiance as we ate outside to enjoy the evening people-watching, but we can recommend the food and its presentation, and the service, without hesitation. 'Tain't cheap, but you get what you pay for, and we're very pleased to see another quality spot added to what is now a very attractive area in the evening.
