Stayed in Perdido Key last week and decided to try this place per recommendation of trip advisor travelers. It was definitely worth the drive. Went early enough and were seated right away. They do not take reservations. Friendly service. My husband and I both ordered the Triggerfish. Large portions and the food was excellent. Comfortable and clean restaurant with nice views. Affordable dining-stay away from the chain restaurants-you can go there at home!

Marina Oyster Barn is a Pensacola tradition, and still operates as a local, family place. Seafood is fresh, service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. Casual and relaxed atmosphere.

The Marina Oyster Barn has been around Pensacola for many years, and has seen it's share of restaurants come and go while continually providing the best available fresh local seafood at reasonable prices. The seafood here is "just darn good"! I started off my diner with a dozen of fresh shucked raw oysters that were some of the "most tasty, salty goodness, gifts of the sea," you will ever experience! My wife had the fried oysters(cripy light batter and done to perfection) for her entry and I had the fresh catch of the day, "Triggerfish"- grilled to perfection with a little seasoning and butter. Add some steamed seasoned vegetables and a few hush puppies, and "it doesn't get any better than that!"

You don't eat near the water, you eat on the water! The building extends over the water, a great view! The Marina Oyster Barn has local history from previous hurricane storm surge signs marking water levels to interesting ocean fish sculptures. The waitresses are quick and friendly, but very attentive. We had the "catch of the day" grilled trigger fish. The dish came with two sides plus hushpuppies. I cleaned my plate. If in Pensacola, eat here, no dissapointments.
