Full bar. Late night menu. Brunch on Sundays. The Fish House Deck is comprised of 3,500 square feet of the coolest deck in town on the water! Atlas is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. It is "the place" to find delicious local oysters. Apalachicola Bay and East Bay oysters are harvested and driven to us fresh each day. Try them raw, baked, or steamed. The freshness and taste of these savory mollusks can't be beat.Atlas prepares locally caught fish and shellfish-such as red snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, blue crab, and Gulf shrimp-in a variety of ways. The menu also includes cold-smoked steaks, chicken, and pasta entrées as well as daily specials, sushi, and a children's menu. In addition, many Fish House favorites are served at Atlas. The dessert list includes our famous key lime pie. Don't miss Tuesdays for half-price sushi and $2.00 domestic draft beers starting at 5 p.m. and going until 10 p.m.

The signature shrimp and grits dish was very good. Also had Sushi which was OK (fish very fresh, but rolls were "Americanized" and lost the Japanese sense. The view and deck are great (ate outside) and the service was good. I would return.

We had a great time at the Fish House. The food was just incredible. The fish tacos were really good. I have never had such good bread pudding. A member of our party who is local said that they are known for their grits a yaya.

There was a sudden rain storm while we were waiting for our table, and that caused them to have to move all the outside diners inside, which backed up the waiting list something awful. Not their fault, but we had to wait 2 hours for a table! I'm just saying that once we got seated, our food came pretty quickly, we forgot how long we had waited, and we just enjoyed the evening.

We did end up being seated outside after the rain stopped, and I think that was a good thing. Very pleasant.

We were told at the hotel to go there for the oysters. I am one who knows that you order oysters in cold water months that end in a "R". I should have stuck to that because the oysters were not really that good and they didn't have ingredients for 1/3 of their sushi rolls.

Today I told my husband we had to go to the Fish House; I needed a salmon salad fix. There are other great dishes at The Fish House, but for me, the salmon salads are killer. Our son loves the grits a ya ya and my husband thinks nobody does the Oyster Poor Boy better, but there are other dishes, equally great. The fish chowder is truly outstanding, just about anything grilled or fried is going to be done perfectly. It's hard to have a bad meal at The Fish House. If you have the luxury, avoid the crowds, eat lunch on a quieter day or get there early for dinner so you don't have to compete with all the people at the bar and the people waiting for week end tables.
