Description: We take fresh gulf Coast seafood, fry it to perfection and serve it to you with a smile. We are hoping to have a grill installed soon but we do have a lot of non-fiction menu items available. We do not use any heat lamps here at the restaurant so everything is served fresh.

This outstanding restaurant is always busy. They have outstanding food and Awesome service. The crab cakes were better than my grandma's, and that says a lot. Sorry grandma.
Craig was our server and he is absolutely awesome!
You will not leave hungry! The portions are great and cooked to perfection. Next time I will put a cooler in the car to keep the leftovers cool until we get home.
I forgot to take a photo before I started eating, but, here is a photo of one and a half crab cakes. The plate comes with three large crab cakes, cole slaw, hush puppies and baked beans. Yes, you get to pick the sides.

Recommended by a fellow golfer, we expected the market, but only realized there was a restaurant when we checked on the Web. It's a bit confusing to go to the fabulous fish market and find just a sushi menu, but we asked about a sit-down restaurant and were directed to the other building across the parking lot. Would have helped if there had been a sign -- but obviously, it's been there for 29+ years and everybody else knows where it is! Our kind of place -- laid back, casual, friendly service, extensive but not expensive menu. Mr. had fried bass/swai, fries, and cole slaw, I had a crab burger -- two huge crab cakes on a po'boy roll, and fries. Everything was hot, fish super-fresh, coleslaw nothing special but okay. The menu explains that the crab cakes are not the usual and contain mozzarella cheese -- I loved them but the order was so generous that I brought one home, along with half the delicious roll and some fries. The place was packed, but nobody had to wait very long for a table. All of the servers were super-friendly and really hustled. All the food was fried, but i don't understand why some reviewers fault this -- and there's always a gumbo, chowder, shrimp creole or salad option.
We bought scallops and stone crab claws at the market to take home.

Food was fast, staff is friendly. Very busy place, be patient. Scallops and shrimp were not over cooked.

Not what I expected, service was good, the shrimp were like eating rubber bands. I guess that's why the price was so good.
Being next door to Joe Pattis you would expect to t to be great.
If you feel the urge for seafood go somewhere else.
