Description: McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire's moves to its current location; Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you'll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant. We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment. For the most current Menu's please visit our website.

“Great food, good craic, inconsistent service”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

We returned three days in a row for drinks and we sampled different parts of the menu each day.
First day we had a larger group and a fairly large tab between us. Gery the waitress argued with one of our guests about how charcoaled the burger was, but once returned, the chef came out to ensure it was to his liking. There was a lot of chatter among the waitresses that night and not a lot of service, but the food was good and the drinks were good.
Second day, Nick was our server. He was more attentive, but he did make us feel rushed and he was condescending. When our guest requested bread, he tried to avoid getting it, but we requested he keep checking on it, and he eventually got it. We had great steaks and lots of drinks that were yummy....
Third day, coworker really needed another Irish coffee and David with an H was a big improvement service wise although he admitted to being cheap with his mints, ha! Richard Abrecrombie was very accommodating and allowed a coworker to feel like a Master's Champion in the green jacket..... Good burgers and salads ....
Must go if you are a steak lover or just want a great big drink.....

“Nobody left unsatisfied”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

Had a large group for my daughters wedding and this place delivered. Had to wait a while but the food was worth the wait. From steaks to fish to pasta everyone waved about the food. The appetizer platter (little bit of everything) was very large and had a taste of everything. The she pares pie that my wife had was fantastic and I'm usually not a fan of that dish.
I would go back again if ever in town.
The AC was fridge temps so be forewarned.

“Fun environment, delicious food and drinks!”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

This is my all time favorite restaurant to go to. I choose to go to Pensacola beaches just to come here to eat. (We are from Louisiana and love good food) The steaks are out of this world delicious, tender, always cooked perfect. Its worth the wait to be seated... Have an Irish Wake or one of their own delicious beers (stout is my choice) to ease the wait time. I personally love the ribeye, but the filet is yummy too. It's so good, I've never ordered anything else, but everyone else at the table is happy with whatever they order. Bring a dollar bill and a marker to write on it and hang it somewhere!

“Great steak, great soup, great time”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

We really enjoyed the meal. Both of the local beers that we tried were good. The steaks were very good. The white bean soup was great. The Irish Boxeys (fried mashed potato balls) were really good. My wife had the bread pudding and it was the best thing that we ate. The portions that they serve are large so all that we could finish were the soup and the beer. We are going back to McGuire's the next time we are in Pensacola.
