Description: McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire's moves to its current location; Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you'll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant. We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment. For the most current Menu's please visit our website.

“Great service”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

We stopped in for a couple of appetizers on our way to the airport and were very pleased. Portions were very good which made this a great value. The house beer was excellent, the drinks were well poured and the appetizers were very tasty. Better yet, the bartender serving us was fun, courteous and really made us feel like we were the only people in the place, even though it was doing a brisk business. All in all a great experience and one I wish to repeat again!

“Crowded, as usual, and hardly worth the wait.”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Went with friends. Two of us had the Fish & Chips which was good (not great for the price). The fish AND the chips are batter dipped and fried. The cocktail sauce was some sort of red gelatinous sauce, which neither of us ate. The other two of us had the Seafood Platter which (according to them) was terrible. The fish was baked (or broiled) and was tasteless. The other items, oysters/shrimp, were prepackaged breaded-type versions of what you buy at your local grocery. However, what I have bought in the freezer section of the grocery, certainly, looked better than these. The two of us who ordered the Seafood Platters were Very displeased. Our waitress was more interested in listening to herself talk than listening to our orders. She spoke condescendingly to us when we ask any questions.

“Don't miss this!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

This is a great restaurant, don't miss it. The wait will be long if you go at certain times, but worth the wait. Don't forget to staple your "special" dollar bill up while you're there. We had the prime rib and was wonderful! Our service was great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Don't forget to look in the gift shop for unique gifts to remind you of your experience.

“Great party restaurant”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

If you go on the weekends the wait is very long, go early. Weekdays during the season still most likely you will still wait. Usually a younger crowd plenty of fun and enthusiasm. Good steaks, great burgers, special fried chicken recipie from a favorite local family restaurant now closed. Good time, good food, served with enthusiasm. If you want it a little quieter ask to be seated in the wine cellar.
