Description: McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire's moves to its current location; Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you'll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant. We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment. For the most current Menu's please visit our website.

“Great Restuarant”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

We ate here 4 times in 4 days. That is how much we enjoyed this place. You can go as expensive or inexpensive as you would like. We had ribeye steaks one night and they were exceptional. Another night I had the rueben sandwich. It was the best rueben I have ever had! The chocolate moose martini was very good and the frozen irish coffee was great as well. We loved the atmosphere and enjoyed our servers. A very good and fun place to eat!

“Heavy on atmosphere, good food”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

We enjoyed McGuires while on a girls' weekend, and appreciated the uniqueness of the place -- dark, Irish-themed furnishings, dollar bills hanging all over the place, many small rooms making an intimate feeling though a very large place! The food we had was all good, though not spectacular. I regret not ordering the home-brewed root beer, as later I heard it was a specialty. We weren't crazy about how dark the whole place felt, though a friend who had been there on a first date enjoyed it.

Portions were large (too large for any of us to finish!) and service was fine but not exceptional. One warning: be careful when you go to the restroom -- restrooms signs are designed to deceive you. Sign on men's room says "women's room --->" and vice versa. Many people walked into the wrong bathroom. Funny but would make for an embarrassing visit for some.

Reviewed March 26, 2013 via mobile

The resturant is great with out the food. But when u eat it makes it that much better. The portions are huge and delicious. I always get the nathens special. That dish last me two meals. Beware of the liverwurst sandwich it sita 12 inch high and there is two of them. U definitly get what u pay for. I go there every time im in town. Get there early if u dont want to wait outside.

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

We enjoyed our recent lunch at McGuire's Irish Pub. There is a good selection of pub style foods. Prices are reasonable and portions large. The food is tasty too! There is a great atmosphere. The restaurant is divided into a number of smaller rooms so you get the feeling of being in an intimate Irish pub and not a large restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. They brew their own beer on the premises so there are some unique offerings. The restaurant had lots of patrons and is obviously popular. We plan to return when visiting the area again.

“Great Irish Food & Crab Cakes Too!”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Loved this Irish Pub. The Crab Cakes were wonderful and the Shepards Pie was very traditional Irish fair. Save room for the Bread Pudding, it's the best. However, be careful when going to the restrooms (read the door signs very carefully).
