The easiest of the forts to visit on base. A real sense of history. Rustic.

“More history, all good!”

Again, a great place to see just how "we" lived a few hundred years ago. Go, check it out. You won't be sorry.

“Watch the movie in the gift shop first!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2012

If you are not taking the tour- watch the movie. It will make the experience so much better. This fort is beautiful!!!!! They said it's a photographer's heaven. I took so many pics. The beautiful sand colored bricks. But the Spanish fort inside!..... amazing.. the white washed walls and steps....original wood.. yes original wood (watch the movie!). We loved it.

“Very Beautiful, quiet and FREE!”

A lot of walking, but very interesting to see this civil war bunker. Would have been better if they had more info posted as you walk...like what you're looking at or what importance it was. Luckily for me, my husband's a walking wiki-pedia, so he was all informative!
