There is something for everyone here, whether kids or adults. There are displays inside and out, and best of all, it's free. It would be worth charging admission, but at this time they don't. Make a donation if you wish. I have been several times, and there are always different exhibits. One afternoon just won't be enough, I promise.

The Naval Air Base Pensacola is a great place to spend the day. There are displays outside and when you enter inside you are greeted by friendly staff who are volunteers that are mostly retired Navy. They offer you tickets for the free Trolley tour of the rear parking lot where there were numerous planes of all ages. There are IMAX theaters there and flight simulator rides. Blue Angel Planes, helicopters, fighter jets and a lot of our nations history. I was there for 2 hours and certainly needed more time. The next time I'm in Pensacola I will be going back.

Such a great museum that has gotten bigger since my last visit and getting bigger with future expansion. Great lunar stuff and exhibits and 3d rides. You can get right next to all these aircraft and a must see whenever in this area. Also. free to the public!

One of the best. I would recommend the NAS and museum to anyone. You have history, engineering, aviation all in one location. Throw in the Pensacola Lighthouse across the street and you can spend a day or more without spending any money on admission.

Went there for husbands Navy Reunion. This place was full of airplanes! The Blue Angels are represented, just look up! Plus the Angels fly nearby. There is a very good cafe for lunch and snacks, great food and not too expensive. There is a library and research area so if you have something you are looking for that pertains to the Navy they can help you find it. Outside there is a trolley tour of the planes, jets and helicopters that are parked. Unfortunately you can't just go out and wander around. Still a very interesting place. Make sure to watch the videos. Would definitely go back. Plan on 4 hours or more. It is free by the way!
