Great museum, well done and a real tribute to naval aviation. Parking is free and ample. Bear in mind, you are on military base and all parties will require photo ID. The admission does not cover the Imax or the simulators. You enter through the early history of military aviation and into cold war aircraft. A tribute o the Blue Angels hangs from the Atrium ceiling. WW2 carrier aircraft occupy the west wing. Around these lower exhibits is a second floor with some singular exhibits. Guided tours are offered and I would recommend them because these gentlemen impart lots of their knowledge. Unfortunately, for us Hangar 1 is under reconstruction and not open now. The Cubi Bar Café has a real nostalgic feel with lots of signs and unit plaques and memorabilia.

I have no idea how this place does it. It is so nice that everyone can enjoy this deep history into a very important area. So often such amazing attractions are out of the price range of so many deserving people. This place is amazing. Unfortunately the part with all the space stuff was closed. However, at the right price I hope to make it back. It is a great place for all ages.

This place gets my vote for the "best of the best". There are bigger air museums out there... with more rare/exotic exhibits... but none compare to the class of this place. The displayed aircraft are "like new" in their restoration quality. They are displayed in creative yet accessible was so that visitors can enjoy them up close. The lighting is great... photography is allowed and enhanced by the lighting of the exhibits. Gift shop and theaters are top notch. The cafe and Cubi Bar are fabulous! The free bus tour of the flight line is both informative and entertaining. The volunteer docents are wonderful!

I will not miss a chance to visit this museum at every opportunity.

The family loved this place. My three kids really enjoyed the museum and all it had to offer. We did the simulator and watched one of the movies. They were both nice but not required to have an enjoyable day. I highly recommend touring this museum.
