“Good times for everyone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

I've been to the museum many times over the last 25 years. When my son way little, I took him twice, and each time he thoroughly enjoyed himself. And why not? What youngster would not love to sit in a REAL jet cockpit, and pretend he/she was flying high, turning & looping through the air? The 'undersea' exhibit was another of his and my favorites, as was the simulated jet take-off. Of course, he loved the gift shop, especially the section where he could buy 'real' dehydrated ice cream - the same kind that the astronauts took with them. And for those who would like to 'suit-up' there are Blue Angel outfits in almost every size. Now, there's an IMAX, which was great fun last time I was there in November 2012, visiting family. While much has changed over the past decades, it has only improved. This is a terrific family, or adult, day trip. So much more than you expect!

Very interesting museum. A must for aviation enthusiast. Free admission. A few activities cost a little money but made the visit much more enjoyable. Also has resturants to calm the hunger pains

“Blown away!! So much to see!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

This FREE museum was amazing!! And yes, it's free!! It's on the naval base. They have 2 enormous hangers and more aircrafts than you can count. They aren't replicas they are the real thing!! Even if you aren't a military or history buff you will LOVE it! Be prepared to be there several hours. If you go on Wednesday you can talk to and get autographs from the Blue Angels.

“Planes to last a lifetime”

Fantastic place to take kids and get some history. They have the best selection of planes I've ever seen and I've been to several aviation museums around the country.
