we took our kayaks on the intercoastal side, then crossed the dunes (using the proper overwalks) to the Gulf beach side. Uncrowded, peaceful, emerald waters. You can get a week pass for about $8.

This beach provides wonderful opportunities for sunrise or sunset walks, daytime fun, fishing, people watching, or doing whatever you like to do in white sand. We utilized this beach December, January, February, March and April and will return! Having a bathhouse and covered picnic area is very convenient, too!

This is a much less crowded Gulf Beach to go to instead of Pensacola Beach. It does not have all the touristy things that Pensacola Beach has but is very relaxing. I loved taking the kids when they were younger to the Bay side. There were lots of sea life and bird watching to do. They have a nice area of covered picnic tables, showers and bathrooms. It is located in the Perdido Key area.

Secluded and semi private. The currents not as strong as some of the other beaches. The sand and water though are still lovely.

I would strongly recommend Langdon Beach at Fort Pickens over this. The entry fee is the same, but Langdon was less crowded and the water is much clearer.
