“Sunset at the Top”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

My husband and I visited on March 26th as a day after anniversary celebration. The 177 step climb is worth every step. What beautiful views. We took the Toast at the Top Tour. Thoroughly enjoyed our personalized tour, the toast glasses with sparking juice, chocolate covered strawberries. So worth this visit. This is one of my more memorable parts of our vacation trip. I recommend that if you are in the Pensacola area this is a much visit attraction. Even if you don't select one of their specialized tours - a climb to the top is so worth it. Staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

“Historic and Haunted!”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

If you find yourself in Pensacola, you have to stop by the Pensacola Lighthouse located on the Naval Air Station and right across from the Naval Aviation Museum. The admission fee ($6 for adults, $4 for seniors) includes the lighthouse and museum exhibits. For an added treat, you can make reservations (cost increase) to climb the lighthouse during the Blue Angels season. And, did I mention the lighthouse is haunted? Yep! So make sure you check out their ghost tour schedule. ;)

The most beaautiful lighthouse and setting on the Gulf Coast. Wonderfuly kept by a great organization. Perfect for families. Easy drive, and a chance to go on board NAS Pensacola. Classic brick tower affords a panaoramic view of the Gulf, the Sound and inland. It's not a relic, it's kept in working order. Bring your camera.

“Must see!”

177 steps to the top, definitely worth it! This light house has a great museum and is really a worthwhile stop. It's pretty affordable, and worth the trip if you're going to climb to the top. Beautiful views.

Great facility and preserved lighthouse. Climb the 177 steps to the stop, views are amazing. Also, a nice resting area in the middle of the climb is the room where Ghost Hunters is playing - they air the episode where the show visited the Lighthouse. Cool. Lighthouse quarters are well preserved and offer a glimpse back in time and the lifes of Lighthouse families. Not to be missed, still free admission!
