If you are looking for a Historic adventure Pensacola Lighthouse & Museum is the place to go.
My friends and I Climbed 177 steps up the historic Pensacola Lighthouse. We made it to the very top and I am so glad that we did, not only was it a fun climb, but the view from the top is absolutely amazing! The museum part was fun too, we learned heaps about history. I would definitely visit the Pensacola Lighthouse & Museum again in the near future ( I am planning my trip right now) :) It's a great place to take your friends or family.

“beautiful”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Came out here with my husband. We walked around the fort, then went out to the lighthouse. It was gorgeous. I loved the old house. you can go up to the top of the lighthouse if you like. the beach is clean and not crowded. Lovely trails to walk between the fort and the lighthouse, as well.

“Great sunset visit”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

I purchased the sunset visit for my husband's birthday and we really enjoyed the spectacular views from the top of the lighthouse. It was an interesting experience trekking up 177 steps to the top (and a little tiring). We were provided with sparkling cider and snacks and were given commemorative Pensacola Lighthouse champagne flutes. Overall, it was a great experience.

“a step back in time”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

It was very interesting to see how the lighthouse keepers lived and the view from the top of the lighthouse really impressive if you are up for the 177 step climb. Imagine doing that several times a day to keep the light going.
