This Red Roof is a converted Sleep Inn that, while not run down by any means, is showing a bit of wear and tear around the edges ... a spot here or there, but not anything that would be considered major. That said, the housekeeping was good. The bed seemed new and made for a good night's sleep, and the pillows are nice and fluffy. TV (analog tube) was large and had a full selection of cable channels. Internet, both wired and wireless, was free, and there was a computer in the lobby. Breakfast, which is not something every Red Roof provides, was basic yet adequate: Bagels, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, two different types of juices and fresh bananas. Location is a bit out of the way, about 10 miles from downtown Pensacola and about 15 miles from the beaches, but it's right off I-10 with very easy access to the I-10 eastbound on ramp. At $49 a night for two weekend nights, it was a good value.
